Project
WSCT
The world's first online trading tournament, WSCT25, required a highly unconventional and comprehensive engineering approach. Formats like this involve managing a massive array of video signals and live data. Our mission was not only to capture the tension and emotions of the participants but to visualize their trading performance in real-time. We handled the turnkey technical production for the 2-day live marathon, providing everything from directing and replay systems to generating two independent program feeds (one for the broadcast, one for the in-venue screens).

A holistic understanding of complex production logistics allowed us to perfectly adapt our setup to strict spatial constraints and automate crucial workflows:

  • Space Optimization (PTZ + Steadicam): Due to a highly confined venue, we eliminated bulky tripod setups. The core visual coverage relied on remote-controlled PTZ cameras, while two Steadicam operators roamed freely between the traders to inject dynamic, immersive movement into the broadcast.
  • Massive 30+ Input Matrix: To ensure total visibility of the competition, we rigged all 12 participants with individual POV cameras and established hardware-level screen captures for each of their workstations.
  • Automated Graphics (Data Parsing): The most complex element of a financial broadcast is live statistics. We implemented a custom data parsing system that automatically extracted metrics directly from the participants' trading terminals, rendering them seamlessly into the live broadcast graphics with zero latency.

The result was an innovative, high-tech broadcast product bridging the gap between esports and high-stakes finance, executed flawlessly.
