Producing an esports broadcast is a high-stakes challenge that demands flawless signal routing and leaves zero room for error. At the
BetBoom Classic: Hearthstone Battleground tournament, we completely resolved the client's technical headache regarding video production and live broadcasting.
We deployed a comprehensive multi-camera infrastructure, providing a rock-solid technical foundation for the project. Our scope of work was strictly focused on the visual component and the broadcast signal (with lighting and audio handled by separate contractors), allowing us to concentrate entirely on delivering a premium image.
Technical Setup & Crew:- Camera Gear: The event was shot on Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras, ensuring a rich, cinematic depth of field rarely seen in standard live streams.
- Vision Mixing: The core of the broadcast was powered by an ATEM 4 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K switcher, enabling complex, multi-layered live architectures with advanced graphics and PIP compositions.
- Coordination: We set up a seamless technical intercom system to synchronize the entire production crew.
- Personnel: The floor was manned by our fully equipped team of professional cameramen, all working under the precise direction of our Director of Photography (DOP) to maintain a cohesive visual identity.
The result was a highly stable feed, a cinematic approach to esports, and complete peace of mind for the client regarding the video production block.
